Essay On A Visit to a Store
We have a number of departmental stores in our town. It is very convenient to shop at these stores. We get everything under one roof.
I once visited a departmental store with my mother and my friend. We wanted to buy many The store occupied four floors. On the ground floor there were groceries, canned foods, biscuits, sweets, dry fruits, cooking oil, soaps, cleaning powders etc. My mother shopped lots of things from there. We bought some canned foods and dry fruits. We then moved on to the first floor. Here we saw textiles, clothings, sarees, watches and also medicines and cosmetics. We bought ourselves some material for shirts and dress for my sister things.
On the second floor there were toys, footwear and miscellaneous goods. We bought some toys for my cousins.
On the third floor there were all kinds of electrical goods and gadgets. There was also crockery and cutlery and many kinds of useful articles. I bought a lovely lamp and my mother bought some crockery.
Carrying our parcels in our shopping bags we climbed up to the fourth floor. Here we rested and refreshed ourselves in the comfortable canteen. Then we went home carrying all our purchases with us. We save time and energy by shopping at a departmental store.
