Essay On My School Peon
A peon is the most important employee of any organization. His job includes conveying or handing over the messages or papers of the higher office authorities, all other departments, or employees.
Like all other schools, we also have a peon in our school. His name is Ramji. He belongs to Nepal. He is 5 feet tall and very fair. He must be around 30 years. He is very strong and healthy. He has studied till the 8th standard. Ramji is married. But his entire family stays back in Nepal itself. He has two sons. The school has allotted him a room inside the campus itself. He cooks his own food.
Ramji has to carry many responsibilities. He guards the school at night. He has to clean the principal’s office early in the morning before the school opens. After that, he cleans other school offices. He then wears his uniform and stands at the main gate of the school. He looks like a soldier of the Gurkha Regiment in his khaki uniform.
He escorts the principal to his office. He welcomes the visitors and sends them to the principal one by one. He also conveys the messages given by the principal to other teachers. He rings the bell after every period and is very punctual in this. He also has to arrange for tea and snacks for the principal as well as other teachers of the school.
Ramji is very polite and obedient. He gives full respect to all the teachers and other school employees. He also takes care of the students. If a student is sick or gets injured, he takes him or her home
Ramji is always happy and cheerful. On Sundays and holidays, he works for the teachers residing inside the school campus and earns some money. He sends a major portion of his salary to his family. Ramji is very devoted and loyal. He always deposits the items he finds within the campus, in the school office. Once, a student’s mother forgot her purse in the school. When she realized this, she came back to school and enquired about it. But Ramji had already handed over the purse to the principal. Considering his loyal behavior, the lady wished to pay Ramji Rs. 100 as a gift. But Ramji straight away refused to accept it saying that it was his duty.
All teachers, students, and the principal admire Ramji. He really is a very nice person.
