Essay On Doctor
Soldiers protect our country from outside enemies. Similarly, doctors take care of our overall health. Doctors, lecturers, and engineers are considered the most respected personalities in any society. Doctors give us new life. In our country, different kinds of therapies are used to treat and cure diseases. For example, ayurvedic, allopathy, or homeopathy. Every therapy requires a different kind of doctor.
A doctor’s job is to diagnose and treat disease. We visit a doctor when we are sick. A doctor is able to cure any ailment, right from minor temperature to any serious disease. Most of the common diseases can be treated and cured by a general doctor. But for major and serious health problems we need to go to a specialist or a surgeon. A doctor tries hard to cure diseases like asthma, paralysis, heart problems, or cancer.
A doctor sacrifices his entire life in serving the patients. He has to work hard for several hours while operating a patient. Sometimes he just cannot take his meals or cannot sleep. He has to attend to many patients at a time in the hospital. If the patient is serious, he has to continuously monitor his or her condition. We should always be grateful to a doctor for curing us and saving our life.
Doctors should always be soft-spoken and smiling. His behavior should be trustworthy so that the patients can rely on him. He should possess a pleasing personality. Earning money should not be the only aim of his life. Many doctors regularly visit charitable hospitals and treat patients free of cost. Such doctors are really praiseworthy. In a real sense, they are serving humanity. Thus, doctors are an essential part of any society, I want to be a doctor when I grow up.
