Essay On A Journey by Air
I have had many exciting occasions in my life, but my first flight by air was the most exciting experience.
I was travelling from Kolkata to Singapore by air. After checking in at customs, my parents and I waited in the lounge with the rest of the passengers, till an announcement was made for us to board the plane. With our boarding cards in hand, we walked to the plane. At the entrance an air hostess welcomed us and another showed us to our seats.
Before the plane took off we were given instructions on safety rules that all passengers were to follow. Soon the plane started rolling down the runway and then rose higher and higher. From my window seat I could see cows and houses looking like toys.
The plane was flying at a great speed through the air without a bump or a jolt. Then all of a sudden the plane began to swing from side to side. The captain asked the passengers to fasten their seat belts as we were faced with bad weather. The s as we were faced with bad weather. The captain was having a little trouble controlling the plane. Some passengers felt sick and began throwing up into plastic bags. I felt like a bird swinging in the air. Within fifteen minutes we got out of the storm zone.
I must have dozed off for some time, but it seemed like hours before my father woke me up and told me we were approaching our destination.
