Essay On My Father
My father works in a Secretariat. He works five days a week. He has holidays on Saturday and Sunday. My father is 40 years old. His height is 5 feet and 10 inches. He is fair and very strong. He completed his graduation from Mumbai University. He has secured his master’s degree in Physics and after that completed his M.B.A. He is very fond of reading. He studies every day for 4 to 5 hours. We have a very good library at home. We get two newspapers every day which he reads regularly and very keenly.
My father wakes up at 5.30 in the morning. He finishes his regular activities and then practices yoga for half an hour before going for a morning walk. After this, he takes a bath and reads the newspaper while he is having his breakfast. Then to keep himself updated, he listens to the current news for some time and leaves for the office at 9.00 A.M. sharp. He is always cheerful and healthy because of such a regular schedule.
On a holiday he usually takes us for an outing. Last Saturday we had been to a garden where we played a lot. We all love him very much. He also loves us. We obey and follow every instruction given by him.
My father is very friendly. He is always ready to help his friends and our neighbors. Many times, he goes for a walk with them. His friends regularly visit us. He is a secretary of the Society Welfare Committee. So, he always tries his level best to solve the problems of the residents of our colony. For this, he conducts meetings with the higher authorities, leaders, etc. Our colony has got a Post Office and a dispensary, the whole credit of which goes to my father.
We never find him unhappy or restless. He also helps us in our studies. He pays special attention to us during our examination. He also pays attention to our health. He always tries to inculcate good values in us through interesting stories. He gives us nice gifts on our birthdays and when we come out with flying colors in our exams.
I love my father very much. I am proud of him.
