Work done by putting in our own efforts without seeking any help from others or capacity to complete work without depending on others is self-reliance. Self-reliance demands hard work and strong willpower. Self-reliance cannot be taught in any school or nobody can advise a person to become self-reliant. The quality comes from within. The necessities of life make one self-reliant

Self-reliance makes a person optimistic, and realistic. Positive thinking opens the gates of success. It asks one to learn from the mistakes done in the past and search for new avenues. It makes a person stand on his own feet. Self-reliance also means being confident about ourselves. We should not rely on our fate but should try to develop our own skills.
