Essay On Self Reliance
‘God helps those who help themselves.’
Work done by putting in our own efforts without seeking any help from others or capacity to complete work without depending on others is self-reliance. Self-reliance demands hard work and strong willpower. Self-reliance cannot be taught in any school or nobody can advise a person to become self-reliant. The quality comes from within. The necessities of life make one self-reliant
Self-reliance makes a person optimistic, and realistic. Positive thinking opens the gates of success. It asks one to learn from the mistakes done in the past and search for new avenues. It makes a person stand on his own feet. Self-reliance also means being confident about ourselves. We should not rely on our fate but should try to develop our own skills.
All famous people in this world became great because they were self-reliant. They followed the path of self-help. Abraham Lincoln became the president of America only because he was self-reliant. Napoleon Bonaparte was from a poor family but he ruled almost half the world. Ekalavya becomes a great archer with his own efforts. They could achieve what they wanted because of their self-dependency. Self-reliance gives one confidence as well as assurance.
God helps only those who are self-reliant. Such persons are always successful in every field of life. A self-reliant person takes advantage of every situation and converts even the worst situation into a good one. People with self-reliance are confident about what they do and try hard to complete any task. Such people have good decision-making ability. Undoubtedly the magic of self-reliance leads to success. Hard work never goes unrewarded.
