Essay On The Life of a Fisherman
A fisherman is different from other people. Other people finish their work in the evening. A fisherman’s work begins in the evening. At sunset he sets out in his fishing boat. He goes far out to sea in the company of other fishermen.
A fisherman has to work hard the whole night. He casts his net into the water. Fishes big and small get caught in the net. The net is pulled into the boat. The net is emptied into a basket. This work goes on until morning
At dawn the fisherman returns to the shore. He brings a lot of fish with him. His wife and children welcome him. His wife carries the fish to the market to sell it. The fisherman, being tired, eats his food and goes to sleep. He rests the whole day. He wakes up in the evening and goes out again in his fishing boat.
A fisherman leads a hard and dangerous life. Sometimes there may be stormy weather. Then the fishing boat is tossed about on the sea. If the boat overturns in the deep sea the fisherman may be drowned. He runs the risk of losing his life. Yet he does not give up fishing. He keeps on doing the job which helps him to earn a living.
