The horse is my favourite animal. It has a graceful appearance. It is tall and slim. It is generally golden-brown in colour. It has a soft smooth coat. The more its coat is brushed, the more it shines. On its neck it has a long line of hair which is known as a mane. It has four legs. Each leg has a hard cushioned hoof at the end of it.
A horse is a strong and a hard-working animal. It can carry heavy weights very easily. It can draw carriages or carry a rider on its back. It can run very fast. A horse is a loving and faithful animal. If it grows attached to its master, it will be ready to lay down its life for him. Several horses have saved their masters’ lives in a moment of need.
A horse is quite intelligent. It understands what its master wants and acts accordingly. It readily responds to kindness. So one should always treat it kindly. A horse can be a man’s best friend.
